Monday 6th – Friday 10th August
10am – 5pm each day
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Aimed at anyone of senior school age who wants to know what it takes to be in a band!
This is not just a call for the singers; it’s for the drummers, guitarists, bassists, pianists, brass, strings, any other musical instrument.
We will group you together with other kids who like similar music and by the end of the week you’ll be able to record and perform as a band, with your own song(s).
Learn song composition, lyric writing: learn creative ways to tell your story, how to find inspiration and tips and tricks on how to finish writing the song.
Writing together as a band: how to take an original idea, build on it with other bandmates ideas and turn it into something everyone is feeling.
Record: there will be access to a recording studio all week, so we will work with you to build your song from the ground up to create that full band sound with the final version.
Gig: the week will build to a live performance in a local, well known venue. We will run a rehearsal schedule to get your band ‘gig ready’.
Promote: we will guide all bands on how to promote the gig and get people to come see you play!
£150 per person for the week. This includes all lessons for the five days, recording time in the studio, digital copies of the tracks you record and team dinner before the gig on the final day. (There is a payment plan available)
